Organization Overview
FDS Engineering provides electrical design, process controls, and SCADA integration for municipal water and wastewater systems. We support treatment plants, wells, lift stations, and booster stations with practical, reliable solutions built for real-world utility operations.
We design power distribution systems, MCC and VFD installations, standby generator integration, protective device coordination, arc-flash studies, and complete construction documents. Our work focuses on operator safety, equipment reliability, and long-term maintainability.
Our team delivers process control and automation using PLCs, telemetry, clear control logic, and structured programming that operators can easily understand and troubleshoot. We also provide commissioning, training, and ongoing support to keep plants running smoothly.
We design and upgrade SCADA systems using modern platforms, including Ignition. Our SCADA work includes intuitive HMI screens, secure remote access, alarming, historical data, and reporting tools that help operators stay informed and in control.
FDS Engineering also operates a control panel shop and provides field service for troubleshooting, commissioning, and equipment replacement. With engineering, fabrication, and field expertise under one roof, we deliver cohesive, maintainable systems for communities of all sizes.
