2020 Euchre Tournament - No partner needed and Social Event
Don’t want to play? Come hang out anyway and socialize…
-Join us Tuesday at 6:30pm. 
-Ticket includes euchre, pizza and beer. $25 per person
(must pay with cash or by personal check). Just want to socialize? $15 per ticket.

2020 Cornhole Tournament - No partner needed 
(partners will be drawn at the beginning of the tournament)
-Wednesday 9pm – 11pm
-$10 per person (must pay with cash or by personal check)

Policies
-Mandatory use of registration name badges will be enforced for admittance to all conference, meals, sessions & exhibit hall.
-Registrations will not be processed until payment is received.
-Registrations must be postmarked by March 4, 2020 to receive the Early Bird registration rate.
-Cancellations: A request for a refund must be written and postmarked or emailed no later than March 4, 2020. No refunds after March 4, 2020. But you may send a substitute.

 
Enter the 2020 Water Taste Test - March 18, 2020
1st Place Winner Has the Chance to Compete Nationally
 
To Enter
-Pre-register for the Water Taste Test on the Conference Registration form and mail or fax to Michigan Rural Water Association.
-Upon arriving at conference, register your 2 one-quart samples at the MRWA Conference Registration Desk. Each of the quart samples must be in new or unused mason jar or glass jar equivalent. The water samples will be refrigerated by MRWA until the Taste Test on March 18, 2020 during the MRWA Meet & Greet in the Exhibit Hall.
-Please have each of your two containers of water labeled with your Utility Name on the BOTTOM.
-Please have your water sample chilled in a small labeled cooler. No large coolers. 
-System must meet MDEQ approval of having no violations of bacteriological or chemical monitoring prior to the Taste Test and able to provide proof.

Judging Criteria
A panel of judges will be selected to choose the winners.  Judges will consider: Taste, Clarity and Odor.
 
Preliminary judging will begin at 10:30 a.m. on March 20.  Five finalists will be selected for final judging during the Meet & Greet in the Exhibit hall.
 
1st and 2nd place winners will be selected.  1st place winner has the opportunity to compete in the National Drinking Water Taste Test. If 1st place winner does not participate, 2nd place winner will be given the opportunity to compete Nationally.

-Roundtrip airfare, lodging and meals for one attendee to Washington DC to compete in the 2020 National Drinking Water Contest.
-News release article in the MRWA quarterly magazine, “The Clarifier”

-If the 1st Place winner forfeits the National Taste Test opportunity, the 2nd Place Winner may participate.
