Michigan Rural Water Association SAFETY TRAINING

MRWA has launched a new Safety Training Program. MRWA will come to you and train your staff when and where you need it.

This training is geared toward safety awareness, regulations and providing information from MIOSHA and other safety agencies. The goal is to help make workplaces safer and reduce accidents or fatalities in our industry.

All session attendees will receive certificates of completion, workbooks and any other resources available.

All safety training topics listed below can be applied to this program or contact us to develop a custom safety training program which can be designed to fit the needs of any public utility or private enterprise.

Topics can be utilized for two, four and six hour safety sessions.

12. Bloodborne Pathogens
13. Ergonomics
14. Excavation Safety
15. Compressed Gas & Air Equipment

This program excludes: 
Permit Required Confined Space (six hour), Competent Person, Excavation and Trench Safety (six hour), Arc Flash Electrical Safety (six hour), Temporary Traffic Control (six hour) or any certified safety program.

MRWA Safety Training Rates

1. Two hour session*: Two hour sessions can be scheduled as monthly, bi-monthly or at duration requested by the recipient.
Member: $250 for the first 10 attendees. $25 per additional attendee.
 Non-Member $325 for the first 10 attendees. $25 per additional attendee.

2. Four hour session*: Four hour sessions can utilize up to four safety topics. CECs for water and wastewater are available for described four hour sessions (.04 CECs, Confined Space, Excavation Safety and Utility Safety). Four hour sessions can be scheduled according to the recipient’s request.
Member: $450 for the first 10 attendees. $25 per additional attendee.
Non-Member: $600 for the first 10 attendees. $25 per additional attendee.

3. Six hour session*: Six hour sessions are formatted by the recipient. Topics are chosen from a list of safety topics applicable to the type of hazards in the workplace. Six hour sessions are comprised of six training topics during the six hour period. Topics can be consolidated into two hour sessions.
Member:  $1200 for the first 20 attendees. $25 per additional attendee.
Non-Member:  $1500 for the first 20 attendees. $25 per additional attendee.

*Plus cost of travel and lodging for instructor.

All safety training session attendees will receive certificates of completion, workbooks and any other resources available.
